The Missing Corner with food and drink, good conversation, and fun craft activities for the kids!

The Missing Corner was the recipient of an education grant from the Washington Native Plant Society in Seattle and with help from volunteers, we’ve been chipping away at implementing the grant.

We’re anxious to thank our volunteers and express appreciation for all of you who use the facilities at The Missing Corner.

The project is in its infancy now, but future plans include building fun activities for children around the native plants and the pollinators and birds that use them; providing direction for homeowners to landscape with native plants for backyard habitat; and helping people to identify and value the native plants in this area.

We’re hoping to feature speakers from the Extension service and the Central Gorge Master Gardeners groups for future presentations.
